We have a distinctive color that other Product Design Study Programs don't have
I gained a wealth of knowledge during my studies in Product Design at UPJ. The knowledge acquired not only encompasses soft skills but also hard skills. The well-equipped lab facilities in the Product Design program at UPJ have trained me to develop my ideas into design concepts and materialize these concepts into prototype products.
The lessons provided during lectures are highly applicable in the professional world, covering both theoretical understanding and practical application.
The Product Design program is highly suitable for those aspiring to become entrepreneurs. We are taught how to provide solutions in the form of products with commercial value for sale. All that's left is to complement this with marketing and branding skills to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities.
Few people are aware of what "Product Design" is, although almost every day they use products created by product designers to support their daily activities, ranging from transportation, gadgets, fashion, to household and office equipment—all of which are inseparable from the role of a Product Designer.
The Product Design Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya is the right choice for me, as someone who is passionate about the automotive field, especially in transportation and specialized vehicles. I have gained many positive experiences and activities during my time as a student. Both academic and non-academic activities in the Product Design program at UPJ have provided me with valuable insights for my career journey up to this point.
Best of luck to all prospective students of the Product Design Program at UPJ!
During my 4 years of studying Product Design at UPJ, there was a wealth of knowledge to acquire. It wasn't just about creating or designing a product, but also about developing the product in terms of branding and business strategy. Additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in several exhibitions, allowing me to learn about other products and expand my network.
Moreover, I established numerous connections by meeting professional product designers and fellow students from various universities, both locally and internationally.
These experiences have become valuable assets for me in my professional career. The knowledge I gained in the field of product design has been incredibly useful and has greatly assisted me in my work, particularly in handling the furniture brand.
