Donna Angelina Sugianto, S.Sn., M.A.

Lecture

Donna Angelina is not only recognized as an academician but also as a practitioner in the field of jewelry. Several of her works have received awards, including the Korean Fashion Jewelry Award in China in 2010, as well as domestic awards such as The Best Modern Jewelry Category presented by Mutumanikam Nusantara in 2012, and The Most Elegant Pearl Jewelry for her piece titled 'Secret Garden,' awarded by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in 2016. A graduate of Pelita Harapan University and Kyungsung University in Korea, Donna serves as a lecturer in the Product Design Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Jakarta, Indonesia. She teaches courses related to lifestyle studies, art and craft, and entrepreneurship. Besides her role in education, Donna is actively engaged in organizational activities within the Indonesian Industrial Product Designers Alliance (ADPII) in the Professional field.

Hari Nugraha Ranudinata, S.Ds., M.Ds., Ph.D.

Head of Study Program

Hari Nugraha is a lecturer in the Product Design program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from the National Institute of Technology, Bandung, and a Master's degree in Design from the Bandung Institute of Technology. Additionally, he pursued a Ph.D. at Chiba University, Japan.

His focus in product design and research revolves around the processing and utilization of materials sourced from nature, such as bamboo and wood, to be used as the primary materials for various product creations. Beyond his academic role, Hari Nugraha has professional experience in several national manufacturing industries specializing in craft products, interior home appliances, and furniture.

Ismail Alif Siregar, S.Sn., M.Α.

Lecture

Alif is currently a designer, researcher, and educator with a background in product design, serving as a lecturer in the Product Design Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Jakarta, Indonesia. He graduated from Trisakti University in Indonesia and Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia.

His main design and research interests revolve around ergonomics, toy design, transportation infrastructure design, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing.

Alif has experience working on various projects for multinational companies such as Suzuki, and has provided national-scale training for the National Museum of Indonesia. Additionally, he has been a speaker at several international seminars such as the Indonesia – Japan Joint Scientific Seminar (IJJS) and the Asia International Conference of Art & Design (AICAD).

Furthermore, Alif has been involved in developing the prototype for the Rinus C1 electric car design, which has become an icon of the Product Design Program at UPJ.

Toufiq Panji Wisesa, S.Ds., M.Sn.

Lecture

Toufiq Panji Wisesa, born in Bandung in 1983, pursued his undergraduate and postgraduate education at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology). Panji, affectionately known as a ceramic designer, is actively involved in creating and has participated in various national and international art and design exhibitions.

Panji's artistic achievements include being a finalist in the Indonesia Art Award in 2010. He is recognized as an expert by the Ministry of Industry in the field of ceramics due to his contributions to the development of ceramic products in various regions. He has received several awards in his field, including Gold and Silver Medals at the Asia International Conference of Art and Design 2017 for the best product innovation category.

His contribution to Indonesia is evident through his active involvement in the arts since 2002. In 2016, Panji participated in a program in New Zealand (Auckland University of Technology) under the Ministry of Education and Culture scholarship for the development of visual arts and culture. Subsequently, in 2018, he joined the Art for All program in Bangkok, Thailand, representing Indonesian ceramic artists to create and contribute to the Art for All Foundation in Bangkok.

On the academic front, Panji has successfully collaborated with the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia. This is evident through his involvement in nine international cooperation programs, including invited lectures, seminars, journals, and art exhibitions.

Teddy Mohamad Darajat, S.Sn., M.Ds.

Lecture

Teddy Mohamad Darajat is an instructor in the Product Design program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung, and a Master's degree in Design from Trisakti University in Jakarta.

Since 1993, he has been actively involved in various research projects, particularly in assisting bamboo product craftsmen in the Tasikmalaya and West Java regions. This initiative expanded to working with wood as the primary material for furniture production in collaboration with small industries in South Tangerang.

Beyond his academic role, Teddy Mohamad Darajat has professional experience in several manufacturing industries, specializing in automotive, signage systems, and craft.

Dr. Zaki Saptari Saldi, S.T., M.Eng.

Lecture

Dr. Zaki Saptari Saldi is a lecturer at Product Design program, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya. His area of expertise includes additive manufacturing, engineering design, and technological product development, with a specialization in computer simulation-based design and engineering. Before joining Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, he was the Head of Product Design Engineering program, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya from 2016 to 2023. From 2013 to 2016 he was a research fellow at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick, UK. In 2012, he received his doctoral degree from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, after completing a collaborative research project with the Materials Innovation Institute (M2i) and Tata Steel in the field of laser welding modeling and simulation. He obtained his Master's degree from Toyohashi University of Technology, and his Bachelor's degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
